Facts about LeVAULT
Password Security as it was Meant to be!
LeVAULT, a new state-of-the-art network and computer security system, brings password protection, password auto-generation, password management, and dynamic passwords through the use of a Universal Serial Bus (USB) device and password generation schema. This unique product will be available for purchase in 2016. Below is additional information regarding this innovative security device.
LeVAULT was created by Comet Enterprises, Inc to help businesses and individuals better secure their computers and networks, and keep hackers out of their system.
In today’s world, computer and network security is dependent on the management, generation, and security of systems and user passwords. Passwords are too simple. Passwords are not changed frequently enough and are not kept in safe places. Once a hacker breaks into a system, the single and most important goal is to get a user’s login ID and password. LeVAULT stops hackers from identifying the user login ID and password.
LeVAULT is better than any other security systems out there such as firewalls and Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
LeVAULT is cheaper than security consultants.
LeVAULT uses a Universal Serial Bus (USB) device and password generation schema to generate and control the password making it virtually impossible for hackers to break.
Employees/individuals/system administrators will not know the actual password to the network/computer since the possible 64-character password is dynamically generated, controlled and changed frequently by the USB device. This allows the passwords to be more complicated and less likely to be broken.
Each employee/individual/system administrator has a USB device and is not allowed to log into the network/computer unless the USB device is plugged in the computer, tablets or smartphones.
LeVAULT is set up so employees/individuals/system administrators can keep the USB device with them to ensure better security.
LeVAULT allows the administrator to control the password generation schema(s).
Each employee/individual has a password generation schema.
Password schemas can be changed as frequently as needed to guarantee the security of the passwords.
If the USB device is left in the computer and the computer is not being used for a period of time, it will deactivate itself and only reactivate by re-plugging in the device and entering the administrator’s password.
To prevent session hijacking, LeVAULT uses mutipule levels of security, which are something you know (the login script), something you have (the USB device), something you don’t know (the password) and something that you have to respond to (such as a text message to a cell phone or email address).
LeVAULT can be set to work on a specific computer or in global mode. In global mode the USB device can be used on any computer, tablets and smartphones.
Hackers will need the USB device and password generation schemas to break into a network or computer and the guarantee that the schemas have not been changed.
If a USB device is lost or stolen it will be deactivated by Comet Enterprises, INC or by the network administrator and can be easily replaced. In this case, new password generation schemas will be generated as well.
The USB device is assigned a Globally Unique Identifier (GUID), which ensures the ownership of the device is assigned to a single individual.
