LeVAULT allows an enterprise to implement a single sign on solution, while simplifying the management of passwords and PIN numbers!
Improve password security, internet security, and password recovery by implementing LeVAULT to provide a single sign on solution for your enterprise.
An enterprise network can be made up of multiple servers, virtual systems and servers as well as WEB and cloud environments. The enterprise contains internal users (employees) and external users (customers, partners, resellers, suppliers). Users can have access to network resources and databases through the use of an account which is secured through the use of a password. Often, if not in all cases, an enterprise will host multiple applications that are accessed from multiple users in different departments. These applications can be accessed from different levels in the network such as: applications that run at the local desktop, virtual servers (Citrix environment), virtual desktops inside of a domain, and other computers connected to the network. Each application can be protected through a user id and password. A user in an enterprise network will have to manage multiple passwords. This makes a network very vulnerable and hard to manage. Add to this complexity the password and security policies set in place to improve network security, which often includes changing the password every 30 to 90 days.
LeVAULT implementation is ideal for the enterprise. As the above diagram shows:
User login to local machine with the use of the LeVAULT OS client.
The LeVAULT desktop client is set to single sign on, and to auto start.
From the LeVAULT dektop client, desktop applications can be set to auto start. This can include a Citrix client (virtual desktop), as well as other apps, when the apps are started, LeVAULT will authenticate the user to each app.
Inside of the Citrix client, the LeVAULT desktop client is set to single sign on, and to auto start,
From the LeVAULT Desktop client inside of Citrix, desktop applications can be set to auto start. This can include an application that connects to the AS400, as well as other applications that can be run inside of the Citrix environment. When the applications are started, LeVAULT authenticates the user to each application and or operating system environment.
In the above example, with a single sign on to the windows operating system, we have started and authenticated the user to multiple application and operating system environments (both virtual and non-virtual). At each level and for every application the password is unique, complex and changed frequently. The password for each environment and application in managed, changed and maintain by LeVAULT. The user has no idea what the passwords are, therefore illuminating network vulnerabilities due to user mismanagement of the passwords and system credentials.
LeVAULT is the perfect solution to improve security in complex enterprise networks.
